About Us
- OUR STORY
From a Local Textile Venture to an Integrated Manufacturing Group
Onin Textile Group began in 1999 with a straightforward aim: to build a dependable fabric business that understood both the factory floor and the commercial pressures faced by garment manufacturers. The early years were centred on woven fabric production and close, practical relationships with local exporters. As orders became more varied, the business added new processes, technical staff and specialised units so that more of the work could be coordinated within the group rather than passed through disconnected suppliers.
Today, the group brings together weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing and trading activities under a shared management structure. Its factories work with cotton, blended and purpose-developed fabrics for apparel and home-textile programmes, while the commercial team supports sampling, order planning and export documentation. The scale has changed since the first operation was established, but the business still relies on direct communication, careful production follow-up and long-term working relationships.
- GROUP STRUCTURE
How the Onin Textile Group Is Organised
Onin Textile Group is made up of separate operating companies rather than a single factory working under several names. Each company has a defined role in manufacturing, processing or commercial coordination, while planning and customer communication remain connected at group level. The arrangement gives individual teams room to concentrate on their own part of the work without losing sight of the order as a whole.
- Onin Textile Mills
The principal woven-fabric unit, responsible for development, weaving and bulk programmes supplied to apparel manufacturers and textile buyers.
- Onin Enterprise
The group’s commercial and trading company, coordinating procurement, customer enquiries, documentation and supply arrangements across local and export business.
- Samin Textile Mills
A manufacturing unit developed for knit qualities and selected fabric programmes that call for different constructions, machinery and production planning.
- KLS Dyeing Mills
The colouration and finishing operation, handling shade development, dyeing and the processes used to achieve the required appearance and handle.
Our Mission
Onin Textile Group exists to make fabric sourcing less fragmented for garment manufacturers and textile buyers. Our work begins with a clear understanding of the required construction, composition, colour, finish and delivery schedule, then carries those details through sampling, production and final checking without allowing important decisions to disappear between departments. We intend to earn repeat business by remaining reachable when questions arise, being realistic when production schedules are discussed and paying close attention to the practical details that determine how a fabric performs once it reaches the cutting floor.
Our Vision
We want Onin Textile Group to become a trusted Bangladeshi manufacturing partner for customers who value technical understanding as much as production capacity. The group will continue strengthening its weaving, knitting, dyeing and finishing operations while developing its people, improving process control and using water, energy and raw materials more thoughtfully. Our ambition is not simply to produce a greater volume of fabric; it is to build an organisation capable of handling more demanding programmes, responding intelligently when requirements change and maintaining working relationships that remain valuable over many seasons.
- Quality & Compliance
Standards Backed by Independent Verification
Quality and compliance at Onin Textile Mills are supported by independent certification, chain-of-custody requirements and social-compliance monitoring. The documents held by the mill apply to defined materials, products, processes and validity periods, covering areas such as product safety, preferred fibre sourcing, organic and recycled content claims and responsible workplace practices. These external assessments complement the controls used during production, while regular record-keeping helps the relevant teams follow customer requirements and maintain supporting documentation.
- BCI – Better Cotton Initiative
- OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
- Other recycled & organic material standards
Each standard has its own scope and conditions, so certification is never treated as a general claim covering every product without distinction. Customers can review the original documents to confirm the certified company, approved activities, covered materials and current period of validity.
- Management Team
Leadership that drives vision, strategy, and success.
The management of Onin Textile Group remains directly connected with the commercial and manufacturing sides of the business. Customer commitments, factory planning and investment decisions are discussed with the teams responsible for carrying out the work, helping to prevent promises from being made without a realistic understanding of capacity, technical limitations or delivery conditions. Senior management stays involved in important programmes and long-term planning, while day-to-day responsibility is placed with people who understand their particular area of production. This working structure allows decisions to move without unnecessary delay and ensures that concerns from the factory floor reach the appropriate level before they begin to affect fabric quality, order timing or customer confidence.
